Hello, bestie.

First things first, thank you so much for joining me on my journey as a new author. The whole process has been daunting, and I figured I should share what I’m doing with my lovely readers.

Momo’s Background

I grew up as an only child, and due to that, I had to entertain myself with a creative imagination. That or I would perform for my family and their friends by singing songs from Ace Of Base or New Order.

I took up writing in middle school, but never followed through with it, because I have ADHD and couldn’t keep focus on a single task.

In early 2023, I started reading heavily, due to me being laid off from my job of four years. I dived into the world of thriller/mystery and when I wanted to try something new, I resorted to what young Monica loved, and that was romance. Young Monica has always been a romantic.

The first book to make me sob was If He Had Been With Me by Lauren Nowlin. I cried so hard, I had to cancel my oil change appointment because I was a mess. From there, I read books by Taylor Jenkins Reid, Elsie Silver, Liz Tomforde, and many more.

I found myself coming up with my own stories. One day, I picked up my phone, opened up the notes app, and just started typing out a story. That story led to my current novel Whisked Away (I will talk about on a separate post!).

And now, here I am! Building an audience who have the same love for love. Fair warning, some of my unhinged thoughts will spill into my books and on here.
